Paul Forlenza - Photography

Paul on top of Mt. Abe

    a long time ago

Paul has been expressing his artistic talents through photography since he received a Kodak Brownie camera for his tenth birthday. With little formal training, Paul has pursued his passion for photography for more than 50 years. Shunning the traditional apprenticeship in black and white, he chose to develop his skill creating images using subtle coloration as an essential element of texture. Using available light, Paul’s unique images combine coloration, texture and strong composition to imbue vignettes with a portrait quality.

Paul lives in Vermont with his partner, Kathleen Kolb. Kathleen is a visual artist and has encouraged Paul to rekindle his passion for capturing images that tell a story about this incredible place we call home - mother earth.
